Help needed with Armenian alphabet

hello hyes,

I downloaded an Armenian font recently, but the letters are all jumbled up in the wrong order and I just want to ask people here if I've typed out the whole alphabet correctly. I can't speak or read Armenian myself.

Can you please check and confirm if this is all correct:

just remember that's the Western Variant, you should download Eastern Armenian Variant which is spoken in Armenia.

There is one Armenian alphabet, the last two letters had been added in Cilician Armenia. The initial post looks correct to me.

There are actually two variations of the modern Armenian Alphabet. The Eastern alphabet has the letters "u" and "yev" that aren't in the Western Alphabet, which contains the letter "viv" that isn't in the eastern alphabet.

Not that the letter "u" looks like the letters "vo" and "viv" put together, and in the Western alphabet is pronounced the same as the eastern letter "u".

The letter "yev" also looks like the compound of the letters "Ye" and "viv"

The only difference between Eastern and Western Aremnian alphabets is that during the Soviet era, the letter Ւ(ւ) was eliminated, while ՈՒ(ու) and և(եւ) began to be treated as an individual letter.

Spelling was also modified for some words in order to simply the language and help the literacy rate of Armenians. The "-tion" in Indo-European languages such as in "constituTION," which also exists in Armenian in the form of "թիւն" (tyun), was modified to "թյուն" (tyun). Both are pronounced the same, but the latter is more literal because "թիւն" would be pronounced (literally) "tivn." It's a structure that has evolved its pronunciation for centuries, while the writing was preserved (we see a lot of this in french -- "eau" is pronounced "o"). Barsgahays and Western Armenians have preserved the old writing system, while Eastern Armenians (Hayastantsis) are using the new (and improved ) Armenian writing system.

The western Armenians just have really funny pronunciations for everything. So don't ever ask them to vocalize a letter or that will confuse the hell out of you.

For example the second letter which is basically sounds the same as the second letter in English (B), they pronounce it as 'P'.
