Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

    Re: Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is Native American from her mother's side...

How can she claim she is hairy from her Armenian side when her Armenian grandmother Helene ( passed away) was hairless, pale skin, blue eyed blond?

their Armenian grandfather who is 93 now...

Grandfather form mother's side is unknown, recently they found out their grandfather was not actually their mother's father...

You can see her Armenian grandma there as well as their non Armenian grandma

‘Time to Recognize the Armenian Genocide,’ Says Kim Kardashian

LOS ANGELES—Kim Kardashian posted a blog note and sent a tweet to 7.2 million of her fans urging the United States government to recognize the Armenian Genocide and encouraging her fans to join the Resurrection and Recognition: National Day of Prayer on April 24.

The tweet will amplify the voices calling on Obama to recognize the Armenian Genocide, among who are Grammy Award-winning artist and System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian and the Armenian National Committee of America.

“We applaud Kim Kardashian for calling on our government to recognize the Armenian Genocide. Americans of good conscience want to see an end to the cycle of genocide and to do that, we have to start by calling evil by its name, and that’s why we will be protesting President Obama’s visit to California” said ANCA-Western Region Board chairman, Andrew Kzirian.

Kardashian’s tweet was clear and concise: “It’s time to recognize the Armenian Genocide”

This is not the first time Kardashian has called on the U.S. Government to recognize the Armenian Genocide. In 2010, Kardashian called on Speaker Pelosi to schedule a vote on H.Res 252, the Armenian Genocide resolution. In that message, she said “It’s time for America to speak openly and honestly about this horrible crime against humanity, and the only way this will happen is if WE speak up first.”

Below is the text of her blog post and Tweet:

My family and I are incredibly proud of our heritage. My dad taught me a lot about Armenian culture, and I have a strong connection with my roots. Every year, I honor the memory of the martyrs who were killed during the 1915 Armenian Genocide. Even though so many countries around the world recognize the Genocide, the government of Turkey still denies it.

It happened before Rwanda, Darfur, and the Holocaust. Maybe none of those other genocides would have happened if more nations had condemned the Armenian Genocide, when 1.5 million Armenians were massacred.

Some people might wonder why I’m talking about history on my blog. And that’s what I’m trying to show…it’s not history. Until this crime is resolved truthfully and fairly, the Armenian people will live with the pain of what happened to their families and the fear of what might happen again to their homeland. So out of respect for all those innocent people that died, I’m putting a spotlight on it today.

Today, thousands of Armenians will come together in Los Angeles to protest against the denial of the genocide and urge the United States government to recognize the Armenian Genocide. I hope that I can bring some attention to this today.

And, this year, April 24 falls on Easter Sunday. Armenians are the first Christian Nation in the world, and almost everyone will be in church to celebrate Easter. Even on this really happy day, we’re going to be remembering the Genocide.

There’s going to be a National Day of Prayer in churches across America to celebrate Easter and commemorate the Genocide.

My thoughts and prayers are with all my fellow Armenians on this really important day. I stand proud with you always

She can go to hell or more appropriately back to her wh*re house. She should close her mouth, she has no right to talk about armenian issues. Oh and she gets paid by the buckets for her tweets....

If it's coming from her, then yes she should keep her mouth shut. For one 'recognise genocide' statement for which she gets money, she will make many other wh*re remarks and acts. Are we really that desperate to embrace this proven wh*re? She has fouled the Armenian name with her acts and personality, our enemies take advantage of her to tarnish more the armenian name. She is someone who pretends to be armenian when she is not, but just uses that for her own benefit, to be different. The more Armenians accept her, the worse consequences will come to our name. Oh and she is well known not for being smart or achieving something, but she is famous for prostituting her self, is that what we really need?

You know Mos, I've had a change of heart on this subject as of late. Is it really Kim's fault that she was born into the Hollywood culture and lacks guidance from an Armenian father figure in her life? Yes, she's an absolute disgrace to the Armenian name but let's not forget that her assimilation is also being used by Armenians to prove their point. Yes, I cringe every time I see an Armenian girl with Kardashian hairstyle. Yes, she's the opposite of what many Armenian parents raise their daughters to be. Even if she's tweeting for all the wrong reasons which is really an assumption on our part (who knows what goes on inside that confused head of hers), at least she's reaching out to a group of people who probably can't even spell or pronounce the word Armenian so at least it's something positive.

On a side note, do you think Serj Tankian would hit on Kim? lol

It's not her fault that she was born into that kind of household or that her father died (probably a good thing since he didn't have to witness his wh*re daughter), but it is her fault for making herself famous by prostituting herself. She made does choices and than being a person who made those choices, she mixes in an Armenian identity that she has no right to. In all, what this makes is a dangerous combination. She has seemingly become the unofficial representative of armenians in north america. Do you want a prostitute representing your people? Representing the rich culture and identity of the Armenian people? Especially given the historical ignorance of people in N. America, their only knowledge of armenians will be this xxx - that is very sad. Instead, Armenians should back away from her and ensure she doesn't become this representative. Do you know, that Azeri and Turks know often employ Kardashian in their anti-Armenian propaganda? Using her to show that Armenians reflect her traits? She is bad news, and I am saddened that Armenians try to even reach out to her, the only thing she deserves is a spit in the face, she should go and represent her own native american/hollywood culture, the one she is really of.

I know, it is sad. I recently saw a picture of a random Armenian girl who ran into Kim and got her picture taken with her. The really sad part is she looked exactly like a Kim wannabe... the hair, makeup, etc. The worst part was all the positive messages on her facebook photo by Armenian girls and guys. They put this lost soul up on a pedestal.

I think this is a vivid case of trafficking (self trafficking = self sex slavery) carried out by the culprit called money and the prostitute/Kim is one of the “victims” of the criminal named MONEY/Devil/Evil.

I guess the “Victim” can’t take all the money (her body parts earned) with her at the immanent death. Does she know it?. The dirty lamb will go to the hell as naked and poor as she was born with the stamp 666. And she would be blamed by God mainly for spoiling souls of the youth.

                    Poor prostitute!!!!!!!!!!

By the way; how much does Kim charge her clients per hour for the services; offering her different body parts? Does someone have the pricelist for specific parts?

I agree with Mos on this one. We shouldn't just set our principles aside and use a xxxxx like her to advance our agenda (especially when it comes to the genocide). We just hurt ourselves more by doing this, as more and more young Armenians will idolize her.
It sickens me everytime I see her with the telethons, I have stopped watching it.
