Their children thanked them enough. Plus, people shouldn't be praised for things they should be doing anyway, such as raising and nurturing their own children.

Why, if he thinks that's the only thing they should be doing?

Well the thought process is... take power away from the average man so that the powerful men can rule forever.

There is no proof that there are positive consequences to recruiting women, and the state of western political agenda at this point in time will never allow any criticism of women in any profession traditionally associated with men.

If it's not mandatory, there will never be enough women volunteers to form a brigade.

You demonstrate partly how western politically correct thought is so retarded.

"Hey, we're having problems in our field, not advancing"
    "What can we do?"
"Well, let's see, I hear that women are really awesome at everything"
"And we don't seem to have many women at all"
"I have a great idea. Let's start a campaign to recruit more women to our industry"
    ..........
"Ok, so we have around 30% women, but things haven't improved"
"We need MORE women. The magic number is at least 50%"
    ......
"Now it's at 55% women, but things have not gotten better. In fact, they're slightly worse"
"There is too much flirting going on. The women keep taking personal time off, some
of them are on parental leave. What's wrong?
"We're not doing ENOUGH for these women"
"We need to do MORE to make them feel comfortable at work"
    ........
    ........
While, at a more logical part of the world, rather than looking towards women as a solution, one would find the problem first then attempt to find a solution that would actually work.

The retardation of western thought = Look to women for solutions to all of worlds problems, but forgetting the fact that ALL civilizations owe thanks only to men.

You have your opinion (based on nothing) and I have my opinion based on the experience in Israel. Anyway, I know we can do it, and I hope in the future we will see Armenia recruiting women, which will boost the capabilities of our army immensely.

With Israel's military technology and spy network, a 6 yr old can join the forces and do just fine.

Maybe that would be the case, but most likely, they will be a major distraction to the men. Once you bring sexual temptations to an army base all things go haywire.

There is no proof of this. Women are no better than men when it comes to being a sniper. And if you're going to bring the fact that during WW2 there were many women snipers, know that during WW2 women rarely volunteered to be on the front lines, but many volunteered to be snipers (given that it's a much safer method of fighting).

The government shouldn't spend its limited resources on promoting and encouraging women to join the army. These resources can be better spent on other things.

Just because women serve now, doesn't mean they should be encouraged to do so.
