He was an Armenian Catholic priest, murdered at the command of the Ottoman Sultan after his arrest was requested by the Armenian Church in Constantinople. The Greek Church also had a hand in it, but the background to it was growing anti-French sentiments in the Ottoman court. A number of other Armenian catholics were also murdered at this time, and there were anti-Catholic pogroms encouraged by the Greek and Armenian Churches.

For many years now there have been reports of hundreds of Armenian women and girls trafficked into UAE. The local emirati Armenians (a community of 5,000) as well as the world wide Armenian diaspora leadership pretend these victims don't exist.

This is not the calculated conspiracy of destroying an Armenian that happened 300 years ago, but it is an example of a complete lack of humanity and solidarity
