Yup. I don't know how it started though, if we started it or people who can't stan dus started it. Either way, it's sorta become common slang among young Armenians. Some use it too much, others think it's deragotory and we shouldn't use it. Personally, I just play it by year and use it in whatever context I find appropriate.
