SUPPORT MOVIE WITH ARMENIAN SONG, DLE YAMAN, MARCH 11, 2005.

“A huge thank you to Mel Gibson for bringing “THE PASSION” movie, the gift to the world of the Love of Our Lord, which also brought the spotlight to ARMENIA with the movie including the old ancestral Armenian song, “Dle Yaman.” Let us all to show our appreciation and support, especially the Armenian community, in the March 11, 2005 theater movie release of “THE PASSION RECUT,” for the faithful. May God bless us all for REMEMBERING the Love and Suffering of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and ARMENIA, the First Christian Nation.”

No. The term "recut" meant that Mel Gibson cut out about 6 min of the gory or violent parts of the film so that it will be more marketable to a broader audience.

Unfortunately he only cut out the gory scenes from the crucifixion not the actually bloody scenes of him carrying the cross and being whipped and such.
