UNLESS... unless you're my cousin's friend! in which case the existence of a second nice person is under one big question mark

I'm Rabinovich because it really filters out all those people who I don't want to talk to - they just won't start talking to me Honestly, I took it from the Murka song, "Rabinovich strelnul, strelnul promaxnulsia, i popal nemnozhechko v menia" I dont really listen to such songs, but Murka's a classic...
yup! murka is cool!"a ti na ruki to, ruki ego posmotri, kakoj ge iz nego pianist". "babu ne obmanesh, ona serdzem vidit".i love this movie, esp. djigarhanjan(gorbatij)

Yup There's the English version of Murka too. I can't really decipher all that drunk russian accent, but they sing something like:
"how'd'you do my Murka, how'd'you do my darling, how'd'you do my Murka and goodbye you have sold forever, all our Malina, and that is the reason you should die"

It just doesn't sound right in English, especially with those genius translators...

well, I remembered this one too.

The Russian guy Vanya comes to Moysha Rabinovich and asks for a rubl'
Moysha goes "I will give you a rubl', but you have to give me back 2 rubl's next year"
            Vanya "it's a deal"
Moysha "but how do I know you won't cheat me. give me one of those 2 rubl's now, and one you will owe me in a year"
            Vanya gives it
Moysha "and for guarantee, give me your axe too as a deposit"
            Vanya gives that too

Now Vanya goes and thinks to himself "i didnt get a rubl', instead i gave one rubl', i still owe one, and I gave my axe too - and most importantly - he DIDn't CHEAT me anywhere!"

For some reason, this part of the forum has lately been obsessed with Jews.

sounds interesting but i dont think its a good idea ti translate it. the reason the song was so poular is not the words, its the atmosphere the characters created. i can see the face of Promokashka and the rest in front of my eyes.

Mister, it's your avatar that pictures a Jew, not ours I know you "shaved" those curly "paces" off, but you can't fool us

Ooooo....I was in Waterford once to visit Schramm's (sp) auto & truck parts. It's the most messed up thing I've ever seen. It's basically a junkyard, but....with BRAND new GM cars that never even got the chance to be titled!! They're primarily GM tax write-offs for whatever reasons (fell off the train/truck during deliver, imperfections from the factory, etc). It was just insane seeing brand new Escalades and 'Vettes in a junkyard. Of course....they're not exactly cheap. But I did manage to get a self dimming rear view mirror with a dual display compass and outside temperature for a whopping $20 (because it had loose glass in it from the broken windshield, which I removed easily), which I then turned around and sold on eBay for $200! .....anyway, that's my story....yeah....
