Re: God works in mysterious ways

I thought it was just the opposite - It takes more to not have faith, than to 'have' faith.

I am triple smiling because GOD (sum of gods that GOD made) does IN FACT have a super cel plan (costs nothing to listen to)... called MUSIC... more specifically radio... more specifically

You should listen to that... then you might hear some of what I've been saying all along (like the riddle, code, divine muses and gods speak through some music lyrics.)

I'm really not joking about that.... That station is one of my cel PHONES. That's why I smile... it is because (like I've said before... I tend to let others make some of my points for me... then I sum that up.)

I can only speak for myself ... but it will take A LOT to instill faith in me regarding something or someone. Pure hearsay, superstition, imagination, peer pressure, dogma, stigma, and "blindness" just don't do it for me.

And you aren't even a 'tough' one... you've got an open mind (most don't). PHEW.

Yah I guess the problem with faith, unlike knowledge, is that there are so many dangerous short-cuts to it. Open mind or not, one cannot be lazy when it comes to things as profound and strong as "faith" (regarding ANYTHING).

I think a good ethic (way to worship God) is to care for the planet and all life forms (Genus species), including each other in the human family (Homo sapiens).

A good way to care for the plant is to wipe away a big chunk of the overpopulation of the infestation we call "humans".... and what better candidates for this de-infestation than those who believe their are destined for eternal happiness for their beliefs after they are dead.

The underlying assumption there is that knowledge can only come from reason and not from faith. That knowledge comes from reason alone is itself a metaphysical assumption and with no certitude can we ever claim otherwise.
