The Armenian nation (as in, the diaspora and everybody else) can not function effectively, for long, without the Armenian church.

You're wrong in alot of places. Generally, true, but realistically, no.

Sip, church = gatherng of 2 or more people that believe in Christ not a building & im not talking about church. Im saying Armenians were the first nation to claim Christianity but I think i found the solution y armenians dont believe in God ... becaue they have to much of an ego But like I always say you can run from God but you can never hide from it. Everyone will get judged & people that dont belive I really hope ine day you will & get rid of the eGo that you have.

                You are quick.

However, the gathering doesn't have to be people who believe in 'christ.' Much broader than that. The 'church' I was talking about (and I think ? Sip, too) is much more organized--even if wrong.

And I am saying Armenians existed (and thrived) looooooong before 2 Christians gathered and they will continue to thrive loooooong after the last 2 Christians go to meet their God.

                  Tunot know's what's right!

But is it the "ego" not buying into this Christian thing that's been around for like a couple of thousand years or is it the "ego" that insists Christianity is the Truth because some guy in long hair said so? You want to see a massive overgrown ego, look at those who think they know it all ... and what better place to find those kinds than ANYWHERE 2 or more religous people of any kind assemble.

The rest of us will humbly go on with our lives and let you who know it all continue to proclaim how you are the humble ones who have accepted The Truth and how stupid everyone else is.

                    Re: Armenians & Christianity.

The role of Christianity was important in that it erected a natural barrier between the Mohammadan Turks.
