Either you are pretending not to understand or you simply need to take some courses in Armenian.
One, who knows either of the dialects, can certainly understand the other one. Yes, there are some vocabulary or grammar differences but definitely not an obstacle to understanding… after all they are two dialects of one language.

Re: Learn Eastern Armenian
Its not like I dont understand it just sounds awkward from the Armenian I am used to hearing. Trust me I dont need any courses in Armenian, its been my first language and I have spoken in it my whole life (home and my friends and extended family).Originally posted by Lucin View PostEither you are pretending not to understand or you simply need to take some courses in Armenian.

Re: Learn Eastern Armenian
Father was western, mother eastern. I am not perfect by any means. I can speak to either and don't see a bog differance either. Hayastansi Hays think I am from Hayk. (Armenia). I love em both.Originally posted by Lucin View PostEither you are pretending not to understand or you simply need to take some courses in Armenian.
