Re: When to go to Armenia?
I thought it would be. Or at least I didn't think it would be as worrisome as if I were a tourist in any other city. But you know... I'm a woman, it would be relatively early or late/deserted time, I'd be a dead giveaway as a tourist, etc., so I figured it's worth soliciting opinions on.
You said it's not common for people to go running in the streets. Where do they run? Are there trails? I would prefer that to the roads if there are! How large is the park? You're talking about Haghtanak park or where the genocide museum is?
Are there any that go through the forests of paradise, like this?!
Yes, fruit and good weather for travel/sightseeing. I think I'll stick with June and start with trying to make the flight arrangements.
I should have tons more questions, I'm sure, as I start to make arrangements and begin the more detailed planning. I hope you'll check back in! Thanks for your advice!

April-June is the best time to go if fruits are what you are wanting to taste. The weather in Yerevan is not bad yet either, and it doesn't rain too much. August is the most expensive time to travel, period. September isn't all that expensive in comparison.
