concerning the algerians killed during what they claim as an independence war against colonialist france, there has been more than a million algerians dead, and despite this can not be named as genocide, it is just war victims, since the french army did not bring the whole algerian population out from their homes and nor took them south to the desert to annihilate them there, the deads were the algerian resistants against the french. the same thing happeened during the ww2 in france, belgium, holland, greece, etc.. almost everywhere where the nazis entered. but concerning the xxxs this has been named genocide because their annihilation has been effected because of their belonging to a certain ethnicity and religion, same as has been to the armenians by the turks, so pls do not call genocide where there are war victims.
