It is my honor to share this... NO Armenian inspires me more than Monte. He gave up "everything" in the US to dedicate his life to his nation. He died for Artsakh, He died for Armenia. His blood runs through the soil of our fatherland, and it is not only my honor but my duty to visit his resting place at Erablur Cemetary every time I visit Armenia. We only have the land to call home because of our fedayi like Monte. I envy that he died for a patriotic cause, for his country, and for that - he lives forever. I hope one day I will have the honor to make such a sacrifice for my fatherland.
AVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got to know his sister Maile when she worked in DC. His family was in awe of him even when he was a boy
General Antranik (1865-1927): “I am not a nationalist. I recognize only one nation, the nation of the oppressed.”
