Dude, Jan/Janik/Jigar are all Iranian. We use them because of our close history with ancient Persia. These Turks have a labguage that is sooooooooooo primitve that they have to borrow 90 % of their vocabulary from Arabs, Persians, Europeans, Armenians, Greeks to make any sense. Turkish without Arabic Persian, Latin, etc, the same as talking jibberish.

I heard that Armenians also use Jiger, in Turkish ciger, which means liver but it is used to show sincerity, like you are my Jiger, I think it is same as saying you are my heart, but it would be only used for somebody you are in love with, you can use Jiger for your friends.

I think the word is originally Persian.

Yes, we do .. but Jiger literary means "Liver" ... It's a non-Armenian word, that's for sure .. as for it's origin you can be right, it can be Persian...

It's "Very" hard to know.. and I mean very hard...
There are some borrowed words in every language, the older the language is the more borrowed words it gets.
There are a lot of borrowed words between Armenian and Persian language, some say it's Persian in origin, some say it's Armenian (because Armenian language is older than the Persian) , and many other linguistic theories suggesting many other reasons...
As far as I know, it's still unknown for sure 100% who borrowed it from who

Stupid, go talk to a serious linguist, large majority of your vocabulary words are non-Turkish. Turkish is made up of Arabic, Persian and Latin with a little Turkish. The word "Watan" is never used by Armenians and every Armenians knows "Fedayin" is Arabic, the Armenian word for it is "Azatamartik" or "Haytoug." Armenian is one of the most expressive and purest languages on earth. We have pure Armenian words for everything, we even have a word for you - Ishu Kourak.
