Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

I personally am not against any Serb who does not assiciate his/her decision with Chetniks and radikals in Serbia. Current president of Serbia is fine, or rock singers like Balasevic(one of my favorite) are OK.
But if you are a fan of Vojislav Šešelj, or Milosevic or Karadzic or Plavsic or Mladic or other trash-ovics I do have problem.

    Gondorian

Yes it is mostly the interpreters not the religon to be blamed, but in Bosna and Kosova Serbian Orthodox church actively participated in milosevic's fashist polocoes. They blessed the murders and massacres. Not every Orthodox Christian is like Archibishop Barthalomeos.

Parandzem or should I say Sensei I will not even dignify your posts with an answer because they consist entirely of bashing other peoples ethnicity.

I don't blame you, or any other innocent Serb for what happened, however the history remains just the same.

I don't have a surprise that a turk is so against "Chetniks", after all "Chetniks" formed to free our lands from the centuries old turkish opression of the turkish invaders.

Fine for you and all those who always wish to suffocate Serbia. A less than 10% of Serbs even support him, but in reality Serbs don't support anyone that's how he even got to be president. He is supported and financed by the so-called "democractic" forces who made lies, defemation, and aggression against us.

But if you are a fan of Vojislav Šešelj, or Milosevic or Karadzic or Plavsic or Mladic or other trash-ovics I do have problem.
But one thing is I don't care if you have a problem and two, they get little support, but every Serb always supported our brothers and sisters fighting in Bosnia. They fough for their own homes and families and their own existance of their own centuries old homeland.

There is a proper name for the land, its called Kosovo and actually has a meaning in Serbian.

Serbian Orthodox church was opponnent of Milosevic. Milsevic was pratically an atheist, maybe he believed some occult. The church didn't support any policies of Milosevic and Milosevic's policies weren't "fashist" either since he wasn't a "fashist" but a socialist. Every educated persons know that.

They blessed the murders and massacres.
I must ask again, what an Armenian administered website allows such lies to be posted. I wouldn't bother me if I saw something as this on a turkish place, or Albanians or Bosnians, but would you guys give a medium to such lies?

Can you guys even seriously think that Orthodox priests were blessing massacres? Does this not sound to you exactly like the type of hateful claims they deliberately do to insite muslims to barbarity in first place?

Andjela, welcome to the site. Please do as it says and "read the forum rules before posting". If you have a problem with the way the site is run send a moderator a private message, don't air your complaints in the forum. Consider this a warning.

I agree, some extremely currupt elements of the Serb Orthodoc Church participated, but it was no more christian then Medieval Inquisitors going around persecuting whoever they believed was not devout enough.

Don't question the right of the ill-informed to express their views - there is no need for censorship.
But, yes, do question the inexplicable total lack amongst some Armenians of even the most basic understanding of the history of Serbia and its parallels with Armenia. Just about the only reason there were any Serbs left in Kosovo to be killed or driven out in the 1990s was because Germans, Croats, and Albanians were slightly less efficient at committing genocide there than the Turks and Kurds were in Western Armenia.

Such willful disregard for the truth is sickening. And then they have the nerve to expect that their credibility is not irreparably damaged. So they may as well never try and discuss the AG in that case. Glad to see someone level headed make that point. There are many parallels between what is happening to Armenians and Serbs.

Unfortunately Rudder Finn and co did a fine job of demonizing the Serbs by spreading information they knew was false as did almost all of the Western media and today you still have people that are repeating those same lies even though they were all proven to be fabricated lies. Fortunately there were those of us who didn't buy what we were being sold and did our own research to find the truth and we did find it. I as well as many other Armenians followed the US lead NATO "aggression" on FRY very closely and particularly what happened in KosovO. But as you see there are still some people that are repeating those same old lies and they are sometimes very convincing to the ususpecting who tend to believe their lies. However, some of us posted some very good articles that spell out the fabricated lies, but those who are trying to maintain those lies are calling the articles we posted as "hate articles" for some strange reason.

I find the accusations against the Serbs committing genocide as appauling as Armenians being accused of genocide. Sadly there are those who think that by accusing a people of genocide makes them some kind of hero of the weak and in this case the "innocent albanians" and truth seems to take a back seat.

The use of some is quite accurate. Lets hope its very, very few. I think she read into the comments being made too much. The false comments about Serbs weren't made by any Armenians which is what she appears to be gauging. I can understand her disappointment, but if she really wants to gauge Armenian's opinion, she should visit an Armenian forum where there are no Turks and ask it.

Interestingly, I read that the Germans complained to their higher ups during the war of the "brutalities" perpetrated by the ustashes and the bosnian muslims.
