I guess its just too big and powerful a country to ignore and given the fact that it can summon a few million soldiers if needed makes it a considerable military power. Recently an over 7% growth rate is bettering its economy and lots of capitalists have come to realise that the Turkish market is quite virgin and untapped where they can flood there goods in. These are just some of the good parts of it. There are of course many many negatives to it too but I think this should give you an idea why any country may in good terms with Turkey. Not just because of some lobbyists and people lobbying for Turkey (if not Turkish) are doing because of the above reasons, not because Turks are angels.

I think you meant the iraqi war not afgani.
You are right.Although Turkey is not so strong now,it has potential and power to become a big power. So being ally with Turkey is better than being enemy to it.

Hitite - its really geography more then anything...

m and I'm now questioning again...just why would I (or anyone) equate Nazis with bad guys? I wonder...though what I wonder more is why someone - particularly an Armenian - or the member of any group which has experienced genocide and the like - ever think of Nazis as anything other then bad guys - among the worst of the worst? Just what would be the reason for someone thinking that these were just some swell white guys? eh? misunderstood and such - really doiong what was best (for the "white race")...and eliminating all of those pesky unwanteds...yeah that must be it eh?

Sensei was the first to ignore my (2) recent requests in this thread to end Jew-related discussion. As promised Sensei has been banned. I will continue to enforce this as long as necessary.

Why are you so obsessed with figuring out who is worse?

Where do you get "obsessed" from? I am just answering someone's question that no one else seems willing or able to answer with a straight answer.
