Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

      • And if Yusuf Halacoglu can't break you, they'll take you two levels deeper in their dungeon under Ankara to the "Louisville Room"... where you'll meet a naked Justin McFarty on E... And after the obvious torture, his will culminate with a "history" lesson consisting of him getting out a "McFarty edition WW1 history book" (it contains nothing but blank pages) and a box of crayons which he'll use to make a customized version of history just for you

        Think you could handle that???

                I will describe these aliens.
Turks are human beings, I may surprise you !
They eat, even drink water ! Breathe. They can speak. YES!
                Do you know these?
                They have babies,fathers,mothers,grandparents,aunts...
Turks' procreation is not via egg !
Turks sometimes get angry but generally smile
                Turks can love,run,cry,read,talk...
Turks have 2 legs,2 arms and hands.
                They have also heart ...
But unfortunately they still have the same Mongol brain that has not evolved in the last 12000 years or so.

Boy oh boy... How I'm disappointed in you Ottoman.
It seems you didn't read any of the books I recommended. Too bad!
Well, here I feel I have to paste the following passage to enlighten you of your wonderful heritage. It shows you not only stole our home and enslaved us for centuries, you even stole our genes, so now you look like human beings.

Grigor of Akner, a 13th-14th century historian describes your grandpaws this way when he heard of them for the first time:

"Let us say some more about what these first Tatars resembled. The first who came against our country were not like people. They were awful to see and impossible to describe. They had large heads, like a buffalo, narrow eyes like a chick, short noses like a cat, protruding chins like a dog, narrow waists like an ant, and short legs like a pig. They are completely beardless, possessing the strength of a lion and a screeching voice like an eagle. They appear unexpectedly. Their women have attractive hats covered with a brocade shawl on top and broad faces smeared with a deadly pine medicine. They give birth like snakes, and eat like wolves. Death does not appear among them, and so they can live for three hundred years. Such were the folk who came first to the upper land. They never eat bread."
Four things denialist Turks do when they are confronted with facts:

                I. They change the subject (e.g. they copy/paste tons of garbage to divert attention).
II. They project (e.g. they replace "Turk" with "Armenian" and vice versa and they regurgitate Armenian history).
III. They offend (e.g. they cuss, threaten and/or mock).
IV. They shut up and say nothing.

                • Let's also see what else had been said about Turks:

                  Voltaire:

"Great Turks rule 20 nations of various religions in peace. They taught Christians to be moderate in war and tender in victory."

                  Phillip Marshall Brown:

"In spite of the great victory that they gained, Turks generously granted to the people of the places they conquest the right to self-rule with their own laws and traditions."

Politis, Foreign Minister of Venizelos Government:

"The interests of Greeks in Turkey could not have been so much protected by any power other than Turks."

                  J.W. Arnold:

"It is a fact that can not be denied by the history that Turkish armies did not intervene with the religion and culture at the places they conquest."

                  German General Bronsart:

"Turks are the most tolerant people of the world towards people of other religions unless they are disturbed."

Napoleon Bonaparte considers to make the Catholic Armenians in Ottoman Empire rebel against the administration and take some kind of revenge upon Akka defeat. He asks whether this would be possible to his Ambassador in Istanbul. The reply of the Ambassador is clear and definite:

"Armenians are so pleased with their lives that this is impossible."

Whatever Turkey does, no matter the improvements , Be honest to yourself and everybody in this forum! you want an independent Kurdish country.
Because you only use words ethnisity, minorities, citizenship, autonomy , nationalism , bla,bla....
But you should remember the words , love, humanity, sharing the bread, together, embrace.

                      Kisses from Istanbul
Yeah, but If it was the Turks living under the conditions Kurds now live, you wouldn't use such words as "love, humanity, sharing the bread, together, embrace"

None of them fits you or your republic.
Humanity of you is this(shot just a week ago), A kurd is beaten in Istanbul by Turks.
