The 1,500,000 Signatures Petition campaign is the first of its kind on the long history of the Internet. Never before has there been such a grassroots effort to collect such a large number of signatures. Our goal is to collect 1,500,000 signatures (the same number of the Armenians who lost their lives during the Genocide) before April 20 2007 and send the petition to (1) the United Nations; (2) the countries that still didn’t recognize the Genocide; (3) and all major Human Rights organizations around the world. To achieve our goal, we have created this website as the driving force for a massive email promotional campaign. Please sign the petition and help promote it so that we may reach our lofty goals with this project.
Also, in order to make the promotion easier, we have created a tell a friend page, where you can send the petition link to your friends and family. Thank you for your support in getting the proper world-wide recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
After more then 90 years, the Genocide that took the lives of 1,500,000 people is still unrecognized by many countries. By signing the petition, you are moving the Genocide Recognition one step closer.
Please go to www.petition1915.org and sign the Armenian Genocide Recognition Petition and forward this invitation to your friends.
