            Sorry, my Turkish isn't good enough to read it well - but does it say that the St. Paul church in Konya is an Armenian church or what? I walked past that church several times last year but it was always closed.

              Thank you Dele a good site.
              "All truth passes through three stages:
              First, it is ridiculed;
              Second, it is violently opposed; and
              Third, it is accepted as self-evident."

              Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860)

                Speaking of Konya...

                The famous Turkish-Armenian oud player Udi Hrant Kenkulian fled from Istanbul to Konya with his family to escape the Armenian genocide. Why would Konya be considered safer than Istanbul at that time? Wasn't Istanbul considered to be a safe haven for fleeing Armenians?

                  In Your Homeland:
                  Today
                  I Went Ruined Vineyards Of Yours
                  There Were Only Stones
                  But No Vine...
                  The Place Was Green And There Were Vineyards When Your People Were Here...

                  I Remembered That I Myself Is Far Away From My Native Land As You Are....today My Native Land Is As Green As In Old Days...but Here Is Not As Green Today As You Were Here... I Am Lucky Because My Dreams Are Green.. But Your Dreams.....

                      I doubt that there are very many alive.
