Yep, lol. I already know where I am from on my fathers side which is basically from British royalty up to 1950s - long story short. As for my mothers side that's hazy and I think I give up,lol. Some of my mothers family married a Palestinian, one member was French at one stage, as in recent history my mother was born in Saudi Arabia (her father worked for a US oil company) and grew up on a us airforce base before living the rest of her life in the US. Her family name is Najarian but they shortened it to Najar to make it sound more American, only problem is that they give her strange looks because the names sort of arabic, lol.

Quite interesting, Peter. Anyways, I still think the forums will help you get an idea of where your moms from. Your story is not very new. There have been so many Diaspora issues such as yours, so many families have gotten to different places in the world after the Genocide. All the same, it's good talking to you, enjoy your stay.
