Egeli, like I have said before. Ataturk was a worthy adversary who deserved respect and honor and we will respectfully and honorably remove his statue and send it back to the Turkish government in bubble wraps.

No thank you. If it wasn't for Ataturk my aegean muslim ancestors would have been terrorized by overzealous Greek priests. If it wasn't for Ataturk, Ottoman Muslims would have only been united by their religion. His Turkification was necessary, it gave Ottoman Muslims a unity that was separate from Islam.

The debate is to understand how a statue dedicated to Mustafa Kemal has been erected in Rumania : why and how we have neglacted Rumania.

What I can say we have to work on the Armenian-Rumanian historical relations and make the Rumanian people and politician class informed.
