April 24th Little Armenia

Will any of you folks be in Little Armenia on April 24th? If so, I will be there.

What is happening? Will it overlap with Montebello?

Well, they will have a march, guest speakers, etc., and there will be buses that will overlap and indeed connect with Montebello. They will pick up people from Glendale and North Hollywood, bring them down here to Hollywood, and take them further to Montebello so there is this whole interconnectedness going on.

Interesting. However, by "overlap" I meant in terms of time. I wanted to go to Montebello. Would I be able to do both? When does the Hollywood one start?

Well yes, the Montebello thing pretty much goes on during the whole day. I remember I went there on years sometimes during the daytime, and sometimes at night. The Little Armenia thing however takes place in the morning from 10ish until afternoon like 2 or 3 or something, so during that time the buses will be taking people to and fro from Montebello to Hollywood.

And the protest in front of the turkish consulate starts at 4.
There will also be a remembrance vigil on friday at 8 PM in montebello.

Theres the vigil tonight as well at the Glendale Ararat center. Baffles me why its not at Ferahian, oh well.
