Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Hitler wasn't exactly a Christian, he hated Jesus for being a Jew. I really don't understand what you are writing civciv and why are you writing about Hitler in the present tense?

dstyle, it is rumored that Hitler's illegitimate (mother/father not sure which one) was half Jewish, but if that story is true it would only make him 25% Jewish. Being a Jew is a largely religious as well as ethnic thing as well, and so calling Hitler a Jew would be pretty out of line because
            1. It's not even proven and
            2. Even if he was, he is majority German so you can't call him (just) "a Jew".

whenever whoever sais that jesus was jewish? He if someone wasnt jewish, as his ideology is totally oppsosed to judaism.

youre mocking all christians by saying - HITLER WAS CHRISTIAN.
How ignorant can you get? Its like saying all muslims are like the talibans, wich is untrue isnt it? Because yes the talibans are muslim But not all muslims stand for the same thing as the talibans are doing???

idiotic statement. Hitler was a stupid xxxxxxx just like Ataturk was.

Basically it's not so much of an Islam vs Christianity thing as it is a biological thing. In the end, no matter what, biology always trumps ideology. The Turks have always been a warrior like blood lusting people and will remain so.

Are you trying to tell me Jesus wasn't Jewish? PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE don't tell me you are saying Jesus wasn't Jewish, PLEASEEEE! Seriously, what the hell. He freaking grew up in what is now Israel to Jewish parents, grew up within the temple, and up until his death was celebrating the Jewish holiday of Passover with his followers. If these don't make him Jewish I don't know what does! I think a lot of anti-Jewish people (many Armenians are amongst these) like to pretend that Jesus was a Christian or something and think that oh no he wasn't like the Jews, he was totally different and much better, but I'm sorry the plain and simple truth is Jesus was a Jew his entire life and there is no arguing any differently.

Because of Hitler they got Israel, and because of Hitler they now basically have the right to act without impunity, as a whole, and can play the sympathy or "Holocaust" card whenever and however they wish. And so on and so on and so on...
While I do feel you sound a little extreme in saying things like Hitler was the best thing to every happen to them and very cruel, you certainly have a point there. Indeed they benefited much from the Holocaust, though it did come at a terrible price. How can you say Jesus was not a Jew though?! That is not Jewish propaganda it's a fact!
If you want to go that whole "Jesus was the son of God so he's not Jewish route" how about this: All sects of Christianity recognize Mary as his mother. She was obviously a Jew and Judaism is considered as being passed down through the mother. So even when the father is not Jewish, when the mother is Jewish she passes it on to her children. So in that sense Jesus was most certainly a Jew by virtue of his JEWISH mother. Son of God or not, Jesus was a human and therefor needed to have belonged to a nationality, he wasn't some kind of non-ethnic human. He grew up in a Jewish society under Roman domination, and of course was deeply connected with Jewish traditions throughout his ministry and stuff. Jesus- along with his disciples- being anything but a Jew all his life is simply absurd to say.

I still crack up when I hear people getting mad at Jews for killing Jesus. Apparently they've forgotten that Jesus's whole purpose for coming to Earth in the first place was to, in fact, die. The whole point of his existence was to attone for our sins by dying. Everyone always talks about "God's plan"... well, it was God's plan for him to come down here to be killed so our sins could be washed away.. the Jews were simply carrying out GOD'S plan.. after all he said "forgive them, for they know not what they do"... wow, forgive them , another thing all these Jew-haters seem to forget. To me it just seems so silly to hate the Jews for basically CREATING our entire belief structure which is based on atonement and forgiveness. Dumb asses.
