  • An aside issue, but I am curious. Are the words "cezve" (meaning small coffee pot), "sarma", and "dolma" Armenian origin? Because I have seen the words used here, I would like to know.

      • Otto3, where are you from? Is Turkish not a major anguage-branch, among language-families? Hello, by the way.

        • Turkish is not a major language branch... actually scientists discovered that Turks make random voices and are capable of imitating communication... also if you read memoirs of some nobody-knows-who-they-are you can clearly see that the name Turk comes from a parrot kind that cant fly... some of those Turks are even funny sometimes and they are called Otto...

          • And Otto3 is from İzmir, Türkiye.

            • Gee, Otto, you certainly are funny. Parrots are supposed to be intelligent though
I wonder which foods have been passed onto Turkish cuisine from Armenian roots? Same is valid for some Greek origin, like musakka, dolma, döner (it means turning, gyrating; which also comes from "gyros" in Greek".
Why did hostility have to develop so much???

              • hostility develops like as in " xxxx happens"... there are too many reasons for that... anyway... there are no Turkish food also...they are all collected from the cultures that had been dominated by barbaric ways of ours...
                any more questions?

yes, If a train is traveling at 60 miles an hour going east from constantinople, and another train is traveling 45 miles an hour going west from Yerevan, where will the two trains meet. Taking into consideration of course that both conductors are alcoholics, and recently divorced.
