Here is a link to a book which discusses Turkey's dealings with Nazi Germany. Mosul must have been very tempting.

If diplomatic relations with Nazi Germany was a bad thing and a shame, then we should blame the whole Germany and Italy today, including Romania, Bulgaria and Slovakia. And also the whole Japan. Ah, and USA because they also had relationships with Nazi Germany at the early stages of the war.

        And Spain of course!

GreekForumer, dont hate us because Hitler did not invade our state as he did to yours.

I told Gavur that Nazi-Turkish so called 'good' relationships were just crap. Nazis tried a lot to see Turkey on their side, at least staying neutral; they supported some media for their propaganda but did not work.

                    You needed more hyperbole.
They were so close, Hitler would spend his summer holidays with Ataturk in Antalya, where they would goose-step, arm-in-arm, up and down the beach together, and then go on all-night drinking sessions with his adopted daughters.
