She hoisted the national flag of Armenia on the top of Ararat and descended from 3,000 meters on a paraplane. The AUA press service reports that the ascent was started from Dogubayazet, Turkey, on August 18, 2005, in association with two other US citizens, Dan Retz and John Tace. /PanARMENIAN.Net/ May 24 the Tower Bridge in London was drawn to let Cilicia vessel sail under it. The national flags of Armenia and the Nagorno Karabakh Republic could be seen among the other flags streaming over the Tower. “Captain Karen Balayan says “Thank you” and Cilicia sails under the bridge. This is a big honor for a small vessel. The yachts and boats try to approach closer to examine the wonder, a medieval vessel, whose deck was constructed without a single nail,” a BBC reporter says.

Cilicia headed for Portsmouth In August, crossing the North and Baltic Seas will moor in Saint Petersburg. Then it will sail to the Georgian port of Poti to accomplish its circumnavigation.http://www.panarmenian.net/news/eng/?nid=18209
