Professor Israel Charny, who is the editor-in chief of the Encyclopedia of Genocide and the executive Director of the Institute on the Holocaust and Genocide, Hebrew University of Jerusalem will be addressing the Times Square gathering as the keynote speaker. Other speakers will include Andrew Goldberg, the producer of the documentary “Armenian Genocide” to be aired on PBS stations nationwide on April 17 as well as the Knights of Vartan Grand Commander Edward Korkoian, a very effective orator in his own right. A number of political officials, many of them members of the Armenian Caucus in the U.S. Congress are also expected to be present to offer their support.
