        Actually, if Turks did indeed own up to it, it would be a step in the right direction.

              Regardless of what you hear/read from Armenian nationalists or Turkish nationalists, the recognition of the Armenian Genocide by Turkey will not result realistically in Armenia obtaining land that is currently part of Turkey. This seems to be Turkeys major concern.

                    The truth plain and simple. Killing a race, denying it, and then blaming the victims is why this issue is still with us today. There can be no bigger hatred and insult than committing genocide and claiming it never happened.
