About language use, I think Steph has never travelled on a bus full of schoolchildren - if he does, his sensitive ears might drop off with the horror.
Bell, I can probably swear with the best, if I choose to, but, like Chinchilla, you seem to be of the laissez-faire attitude. Ah well. Maybe I should just mozey down to the shopping centre and buy some drugs and mug an old lady or two on the way back, others do it so that must be okay.

You don't get it, do you?

Your laissez-faire attitude is the same attitude which allows morally wrong behaviour to exist and perpetuate simply by the apathy of the majority. Acts which are wrong, to whatever degree, are allowed and tolerated simply because they already exist, "what can I do?" attitudes are too common. The perpetrators gain confidence in what they do, their actions become bolder, more unacceptable until the results can be so vile that a website is designed a hundred years later to discuss and investigate where it all began.

Extreme? Yes, but if we allow molehills to become mountains where will it end?

I did look around my house this morning, thank you, before taking my son to play rugby, everything looked fine. My children are trusted by both parents, yes they have exposure to subjects outside of our control at school and so on, but they have been raised to know right from wrong.

A pity that more people aren't of the same calibre.
