Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Unfortunately I long ago became tired of those who frequent these forums and their so-called opinions. Nothing ever leads to anything, nothing is ever productive, and original content is close to zero.
I've said in another post that I think this place serves no useful purpose, maybe I'm angry because of dissapointment, because I still think it could actually serve a very useful purpose. Almost the only people whose posts I bother to read in detail are those by Turks, they are the only ones which are interesting to read - but as I've also said before, I wish they had never found this place because the decent ones will probably leave with great dissapointment and lost illusions, and the rotten ones are here just to post their Turkish propaganda.

Don't worry about Bell. It is normal for him behave like a bastard. I don't know exactly what his problem is, but I would be willing to bet it comes from frustrations in his personal life.

Not only is this unfortunate for him, but it is also unfortunate for Armenians in cyberspace. You see, for some reason he stalks Armenian forums and spouts off his BS...and (until he gets banned) we have to sit here and take it.

On the other hand, this forum is useful for him as he uses it like a cathartic pillow. With that said, I'm happy we Armenians are helping release his frustrations (albeit temporarily). We're rooting for him to get well.

Hillary Clinton Funding Problems And Mehmet Celebi
AS noted: Kurdish News reports that the producer of the film “Valley of the Wolves-Irak” is a donor to Hillary Clinton and was appointed a delegate by Hillary Clinton to the Democratic National Convention later this year:

Hillary Clinton has recently employed Mehmet Celebi, a Turkish ultra-nationalist - who has worked on and raised money for various anti-American, anti-Armenian, anti-Semitic and anti-Kurdish projects - as one of her delegates for her campaign for President of the United States.

This is not surprising when knowing that the Clinton Administration has been one of the most pro-Turkish U.S. administrations in the history of the U.S. donating more military arms to Turkey than all the other U.S. presidents combined.

And the film is of interest because:

So what makes the film so controversial? For starters, American soldiers are portrayed as violent, brutish, trigger-happy, civilian-murdering, hyper-religious, sadistic gun-nuts. The star villain is an arrogant, murderous character named Sam Marshall (played by American actor Billy Zane), who is killed by the Turkish protagonist at the film’s end. Another stereotypical villain is a Jewish doctor (played by American actor Gary Busey) stationed at Abu Ghraib prison who extracts human organs from prisoners for export to Israel, England and the USA.

                Says Gateway Pundit:

Mehmet Celebi co-owns BMH Worldwide, which produced “Valley of the Wolves-Irak.”
Mehmet Celebi is a Hillraiser for the Clintons.
Hillary Clinton accepted over $100,000 from this Holocaust denier.
Don’t expect this to make any headlines.

It already has. But, if true, does it really have anything to with Clinton? Can she check everything every donor is involved with?

More and more, I see Clinton as bad news for Armenian issues.

                  Hillary's Curious Campaign Loan

                  By Nat Parry
                  February 9, 2008

...As ABC News reported, `Two of Clinton's top moneymen, John Merrigan
and Matthew `Mac' Bernstein, are part of a lobbying team hired by the
rulers of Dubai to defend against a U.S.-based lawsuit alleging that
the rulers had enslaved young boys to race camels.'

Merrigan's and Bernstein's firm, DLA Piper, arranged a meeting with
Clinton and three other senators last year on behalf of Dubai,
according to filings. Dubai paid the firm $3.7 million for a year's
                  work.

Merrigan and Bernstein also lobbied on behalf of the Turkish
government in March 2007 to prevent `the introduction, debate and
passage of legislation and other U.S. government action that harms
                  Turkey's interests or image.'

Specifically, the lobbyists opposed a resolution, co-sponsored by
Clinton, that would term the World War I-era massacre of Armenians by
                  Ottoman Turks a genocide.

Although Clinton was an original co-sponsor, she soon qualified her
support for the resolution, telling the Boston Globe editorial board
that `the adamant expression of real dismay and outrage by this
Turkish government has to be factored into this.'

Merrigan and Bernstein have since pledged to raise at least $250,000
for Clinton's presidential campaign, and DLA Piper employees now
represent the largest bloc of contributors to Clinton's presidential
campaign, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

Campaign finance experts say the connection between foreign lobbying
and presidential campaign fundraising deserves scrutiny because
lobbyists may have undue influence if their candidate reaches the
                  Oval Office. ...
