"Armenian Genocide" to be a mandatory subject

In Cordoba, the National Institute for Discrimination, Xenophobia
and Racism (I.N.A.D.I.), Cordoba's municipality, the ARF's Armenian
National Committee of South America and the Association of xxxish
Organizations Cordoba Chapter have signed an agreement on establishing
a joint policy on human rights.
The agreement affirms that the "Armenian and xxxish Genocides" must
be taught in schools of Cordoba. Based on the agreement, a commission
will be set up to support teachers with the materials.
The commission will also organize seminars, conferences, exhibitions
and will carry out other activities to disseminate broader information
about the Armenian Genocide and the xxxish Holocaust.
According to Head of the ARF's Armenian National Committee South
America Chapter Eduardo Torosian, an agreement will soon be signed
with Cordoba State University according to which materials on the
Armenian Genocide and the xxxish Holocaust will be mandatory subjects
on the exams for 20,000 applicants starting in 2011.
Let us mention that Cordoba State University is the first high-profile
educational institution in Argentina and is considered to be the
second university with the most number of students.
