  • Drum N' Bass

Anyone into it? It is considered in the realm of electronic, but its more like beats like hip hop, but at a faster pace, and depending or not if youre listening to atmospheric dnb you can even have some trancy tunes incorporated into it.

My current favorite is of course none other than LTJ Bukem, with MC Conrad. This is a bit of atmospheric dnb with some spiritual beats and rap, mostly very lyrical and stylized as if its poetry. Really awesome stuff, gets you in the mood for just about anything as well as making you think.

Get the Progression Sessions, trust me, you can't go wrong.

The only electronically-oriented music I listen to is Aphex Twin, Autechre and Future Sound of London.

Aphex Twin is really good. I used to be really into them, however drum n bass far transcends.

Before you check out DnB, you should check out the material of Aphex Twin, Autechre and Future Sound of London. In my opinion they are more complicated and textured. Nobody programs drums like Aphex Twin. Nobody has the quality in sound design that Autechre has. And FSOL is just plain interesting, if you get the right stuff.

                Recommendations
                Autechre: Chiastic Slide
                FSOL: ISDN, Lifeforms, Dead Cities
