My story's similar. Same here with the show choir stuff, we did musicals, Guys and Dolls (I loved it). I was a hardcore member of our choir department in high school...didn't really realize that singing is my thing until later on in middle school. I'd ask you to introduce me, haha, although I haven't sang for a year or two...might be a little rusty. Vay amacheci.

I love classical and I'm always surrounded by it. My parents listen to it at home, work, in the car, it's on when they get ready for work early in the morning, not to mention the endless piano recitals.

When I was a baby, my mom put on some Vivaldi to comfort me and I started sobbing because it was so emotionally moving. Some things never change. I still cry when I listen to the Four Seasons.

we have classical music 24/7 at our house, we never turn it off. When i'm sleeping i listen to it, when i'm eating i listen to it. except if i want to listen to some other music. But our default music is classic in the house.

the sound of the violin just takes you away, i have to learn playing violin.

she would sit me on her lap and watch ballet, opera and classical performances on tv

today, ı bought a dvd called three tenors, have u heard about it? ın 1994 , paris world cup. ıt's marvelous, placido domingo, jose carerras and of course, pavorotti... u must watch... and ıf u love clasical music in movies ı advise u red violine ... my favorite.
ı agree with u about shine , rahmaninof ....also crazy...

My favs are Pucini for opera and Bach for earth shattering classical music.
Check out La Boheme and Gianni Schicci by Pucini and any of the concertos of Bach or his cello pieces, like "Come Sweet Death".

Not sure if it's the same one, but I remember long time ago a televised event called "The three tenors". It really was spectacular, both the music and the production.
