Originally posted by whitelotus i was in show choirs for over 6 years, throughout junior high and high school. It was more of a pop based music style. We would sing and dance, sort of a broadway type of thing.
my parents saw how much i appreciated it, and they wanted me to get into something more classy and suiting for me, so my dad introduced me to his friend, a internationally famous opera singer, Ellada Chakoyan. Ive been training with her for the past 3 years now .

My story's similar. Same here with the show choir stuff, we did musicals, Guys and Dolls (I loved it). I was a hardcore member of our choir department in high school...didn't really realize that singing is my thing until later on in middle school. I'd ask you to introduce me, haha, although I haven't sang for a year or two...might be a little rusty. Vay amacheci.
