    Inside Scientology:
The Story of America's Most Secretive Religion

I'm two-thirds of the way through the book and I'm enjoying this immensely. It's fantastically well-researched and well-written.

I rewatched that loony video of Tom Cruise babbling and it actually makes perfect sense this time around. Yay, I've learned the language of the CoS.

Here's what I could read from the photos:

Տնտեսութիւն Մարդկային Կենաց - Խրատք Պիտանիք
    Թարքմանեալ Ի Սինէացիոյ լեզուէ
    Յանգղիական բարբառ
    Գեւորք Աւետ Զաքարեան
    Ջուղայեցի ի Պաթաւիա
    Ի Վենետիկ
    Ի Վանս Ղազարու
    1843

"Economy of Human Life - Necessary Advices"
    Translated from the Chinese Language
    In the Common Dialect
Gevork Avet Zakarian, Jughayetsi of Padua (Patavia -> Patavium (Latin) = Padua)
    Venice, Lazarus Monastery
    1843

The book is in what we would consider "Classical Armenian", but with some modernisms introduced I think. I am not sure of the translation of the third line, the word is յԱնգղիական and in CA means "in Angliakan". I think the earlier etymology of the word անգղ is from անգեղ and could possibly mean "in the vulgar/common dialect".

I just started this one. I randomly got it from Borders when they were going out of business. Well, I think I'm going to head out to starbucks and read it there, just to clear my head.

The Gendarme by Mark T. Mustian.

I don't know where my head was yesterday morning, but I could have sworn I saw "avedaran!" I assumed it had an author because it was some sort of commentary on it or a compilation of biblical stories or something. I did see the khratk. It is a terrible photo; perhaps manbato can use the macro setting on his camera and try again.

For sure it is not a Bible. Bible's author is not some Gevork Zakarian... it is written in grapar: մարդկային կենաՑ- խրատք պիտանիք
