L'héritage
Normally, I review/present a movie only when I'm willing to recommend it and/or it is of interest to us, as Armenians; "L'héritage," a movie by a Georgian director, falls (exclusively) in the second category.
It's the story of three French who travel to Georgia and, in a bus, encounter, and follow, an old man and his grandson travelling with a coffin to a village where he - the old man - is supposed to be murdered, in order to settle a family feud. The main reason - and probably only - I have watched it, is the fact that Georgia is Armenia's neighbor.
From a technical point of view, it looks like a decent/average European/American movie - most of the crew is French; the acting is OK/average - again, the main roles are played by French actors - probably, one of Sylvie Testud's worse performances???; the scenario/script is plain. Furthermore, it did not look authentic, and, despite that all seemed more "polished" that it may be in reality, Tbilisi, surprisingly, looked like a small provincial town in "ruins" - i.e. poorly maintained.

Listen carefully the first sentence where she mumbles in the middle of it and ends the sentence with bari instead of bargi. She is French Armenian, I say 2ed generation probably from Lyon or Grenoble ... she has that slight French accent none Parisian, probably BolsaHay her Parents migrated in the 50's?Originally posted by Siamanto View Post

I saw "21" last week. The movie was quite good and had really nice pictures of Las Vegas but it didn't really get me too excited.
