Recently I saw "The terminal" and "the Manchurian Candidate". They were both great movies, but I really did like the terminal. Tom Hanks is just so adorable in that movie and he did have a great accent. I think its a good date movie.

Star Wars Episode II

I know I'm not the first person to bash the new Star Wars movies, but I caught a part of EP II on HBO today and I gotta say... it's painful to watch. But atleast I've narrowed it down to what it is. It's not the visuals. It's not Jar Jar. It's not even the horrible story.... It's the delivery of the lines. The actors here, who are good in other films, are absolutely horrible. The timing is off, the delivery is off, these people couldn't wrap their heads around the script apparently. Lines that should come off as jokey are said with absolute seriousness, while the least funny of lines are delievered with a smirk. No one seems comfortable in their roles. All other things considered, this would have at least been bareable tow atch if the Actors weren't so bad.

That said, I am not absolving the anti-christ known as Lucas one bit.

I saw the preview, and the trailer, and I do not agree with your assassination of Episode 3. If it is not up to the expectations you wanted of it, too bad for you. It fits mine entirely. I had to let go of the fact that none of the new ones will compare to Star Wars, or The Empire Strikes Back, or Return of the Jedi, for film these days, and the actors, are mediocre at best, compared to the originals and classics. With that said, the films in and of themselves in this day and age, are good for me.
