I don't do theaters. Large groups of stupid people and me don't get along. But.....

The 13th Floor - on video.

Another excellent mind xxxx movie. The premise is life creating life in a simulated world. That's all I can say. Where it goes from there will leave you wanting a ciggarette and asking "was it good for you, too?"

    4 out of 5 stars.

The first 30 to 40 dates were good. After that, the movie went downhill and became a chick flick

          Suicide Kings

I watched this with some of my friends over spring break and it was a surprisingly good movie. The entire time we were wondering who the "insider" was. The ending was a complete surprise. I give this movie a 9 out of 10. I recommend you all to watch this movie next time you and your friends get together. Has anyone else seen this movie?

Wow, it's been several movies since I've posted in this thread. I just finished up with Gangs of New York. Before that I watched Chicago. I think both films are excellent, but I definitely think the Oscar should have gone to GONY.

The other night (I believe it was Thursday) I stayed in and watched Turner Classic Movies all night. They showed the following four films I'd never seen before:

The Time Machine (1960) - It was pretty good. I liked it much better than the xxxxty 2002 remake.
Soylent Green - Despite the fact that I knew the ending I still enjoyed it. It was an interesting look at a futuristic dystopia.
Sleeper - I think this is the first Woody Allen film I've seen all the way through. It was pretty funny stuff. I'm going to have to try to watch some of his other stuff.
Metropolis - I didn't think I'd be able to get into a silent film, but I watched it anyway because I'd heard several good things about it. I was actually very entertained, and it had some pretty cool visual stuff going on. Especially considering it was made in 1927.

Recently yes and they are getting worse and worse ...

But Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, and Water Boy were very pomising. Anger Management, and Mr Deeds were also good but I just hope he sticks to his roots

I had an extremely hard time watching Metropolis, Both times. All German films are hard to sit through. They have dark and gloomy settings, with slow progressive plot lines.

I'm not a big fan of silent films, but I loved Gold Rush with Charlie Chaplin. I love the guy! The way picks through his shoe nail like it's a chicken bone, is so damn convincing, you actually work out an apetite just looking at him eat his shoe.

all of those movies involved him getting in love with a girl and trying to get the girl, I agree that there are a lot of boring lame chick flicks out there but Adam Sandlers movies arent one of them, their too funny and cute to be boring..like The Wedding Singer...now that was a good movie
