    • I saw American Beauty recently and didn't care much for it. Alan Ball's writing can be didactic and irritating sometimes.

No, that's The Bad Education “La mala educación”. Haven't seen that one yet; not sure if I want to.

        • I always wondered if I should rate movies that I watch. will not rate them, but, of the ones that I've watched recently, I will list the ones I would watch again:
          - My Summer Of Love
          - Last Year at Marienbad
          Last Year at Marienbad (Amazon.com)
          - Pierrot Le Fou

          Looking forward to watch:
          2046
          The Edukators
What if I find someone else when looking for you? My soul shivers as the idea invades my mind.

          • I'll see 2046 because I've already seen In the Mood for Love “Fa yeung nin wa” and I want to know what happens. Plus I like Wong Kar Wai's style. Well, perhaps it's more Christopher Doyle than WKW...

what was it that you didnt like about it?

And i recently saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and i can't stop watching it. There's something so amazing about that relationship but i have to say that i hated the way they made that hollywood "happily ever after ending" and i hate the way they made that procedure sound damaging.
              It was almost perfect.

Indeed, it was funny mostly because she seemed so laughable and she played it well.

Also, the ending is perhaps the best ending to any film I have seen I would say.
