Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

    So, any fans?

It would be an understatement for me to say Bone is my favorite group... words can't describe the amount of love I have for these guys, many of their songs shaped my personality, belief structure and politics.

The Art of War, in my opinion, is their best album to date. Agree? Disagree?

Disagree. Anything with the word "thug" in its title, I develop an aversion to.

Shallow, but I can respect your opinion. LOL, boy would you be offended by my group's name...

Oh insult me, how mature of you. I've actually heard them (unfortunately) and their lyrics do not appeal to me.

insult? *scratches head* "I respect your opinion"? Maybe you thought I was being sarcastic, but I really did mean it, I respect your opinion.. I've had my own disregarded enough times to give other people's enough validation in return for some myself.

Oh, I guess you thought the shallow part was Insulting.. well, I have a horrible way of saying things, but I was just being honest... "ANYTHING with the word thug in it I have an aversion to" That means you disregard things over something as minute as a word in the title... to me that seems shallow. Can't help but remember the band "Garbage"... with a name like that I should have disregarded it, but I listened to it and ended up liking it quite a bit through my highschool years (can't find the CDs now for the life of me).

Never said you had to like Bone, that's certainly your choice to make.. just saying that it does seem a little shallow to say you have an aversion to something simply cause of something like that.

However just so i don't have to deal with anymore message board drama (funny how much more of that I get rather than regular real world drama) I can honestly say I'm sorry if I insulted you in anyway shape or form and would like to rid any reason for there to have a problem with a fellow Tribesman... er.... Tribeswoman...

Ok, perhaps I should speak in literal terms from now on.

When someone says "dzeres arnum?" they don't mean "are you buying a hand?" Get it?

From my experience with rap and the like, the word thug has been associated with filth, murder, and materialism. Now, I have not come across many exceptions, so I'd say that my opinion is valid enough. Just looking at the lyrics, I can't make much sense of them. My theory is that rap dumbs people up. Just look at the grammar, the message, the whole aura. I see enough of this in everyday youth. It's pretty sad, really.

I leave you to be enlightened by the following lyrics:

            Shotz to Tha Double Glock
            Ooooooooooooo....killa [x2]

If you're down to glide and slide on the Clair, then let's ride
Tony Tone roll with Bone on the dark side
But when you come just bring your guns witcha
If your a busta niggas gone have fun witcha
So nigga don't get me wrong, my niggas
Swang them thangs, bang some brains
Slangin' yayo, it all remains the same

Step and you'll catch some buck shots
Murder one on the Clair my glock glock
Mo thugs whats up nigga get dropped
Put 'em in the mud, pop and I can't stop now
Nigga that I thug wit' kill
Pop to tha chest how does it feel

Bloody bodies badges spread out on the ground
Ain't no sound, just them demons screamin' rest in peace

Ooo you're good. I could also post the words to "Change the world" but I'm not in the mood now. You have to take all rap witha grain of salt. Yes, there is meaningless violent parts to it... but that's just for attitude and style... by the same token I advocate action movies. But that was still a good come back, you're adding quite a bit to our genepool
