I just don't go to shows as often as I once did...

Alman Brothers well worth checking out...and how about Clapton - Derek and the Dominos? Also Jeff Back - wired & blow by blow - classic stuff...still can give me chills...

Haven't heard them. Will take a listen.
One of Cornwells albums is quite good - very - but tame by Strangles standards. JJ Burnells album kicks..he may have another...not sure...

understood - on both counts...some real gems in the Joni Mitchell collection...even her recent (last 10 years?) stuff is quite excellent...

    I will chack it out....Chester is great...funny it wouldn't let you type B o z i o...?

He is an incredible drummer - and could just step up and play drums to anything in Franks entire catalogue (even all the very difficult synchopated stuff...) - he is a huge Zappa head. His dream was always to be Frank's drummer...he could actually play it better the Wakerman could at the time (as rehersals had just begun and they hadn't played since 84 I think...but my buddy could just step right up and play...it was very cool to get these sessions on tape...(hours and hours of it - not all worthwhile of course...Frank chastising the band - particularly Tommy!) - some really good improve bits and brief jams though...

That's too bad. The fusion scene is probably weak in your neighborhood.

"Black Water" is one of my favorite songs ever. That whole album is great actually.

Beck and Clapton are super cool.

You are the only person I've come close to meeting that knows The Stranglers.
