I just started "Angels & Demons". I won't finish it too quick, I'm not as excited over it as the previous book. I'm sure it's just as good, but I don't know. I already have my next book planned, "The Da Vinci Legacy."

Red Earth and Pouring Rain - really good book, by some Indian, forgot the name.

Dostoyevskys, The Idiot - good, not great but good.

John Grisham, The Partner - really good until the last 2 pages, pissed me off.

I'll start reading "Angels & Demons" soon. I ordered it today, I'm having withdrawal from not reading.

I have to read "Angels & Demons" just because it's the prequal to "The Da Vinci Code" and I never got to read it. After that, I'll get into some books my friends have suggested.

It's a really good book.

This book has to be a must read by all. It's so incredibly easy to read that I finished it in an hour. It's very fast paced, and it gets the message home really well. The book may sound like it's one of those automatic get rich quick schemes, but it's not. Inside, David Bach argues over and over that the key to wealth is not instantaneous, but over time. The message is so simple and so easy that you can't help but wonder "Damn, it's so obvious!" He basically expounds on the idea of saving, and investing, but suited to everyone. You do not have to be a financial guru or a wizard, nor must you understand complex finances or market forces to invest and be a millionaire. In the book, his example is a couple, Jim and Sue McIntyre, who were very mild-mannered and simple in appearance but were millionaires.

The idea that Bach expands upon is that you have to make the process of wealth planning, "automatic". In other words, when you open an account you should adjust for it to automatically deduct a certain amount from your check. The idea is to "pay yourself first". No matter what, bills, expenses, and debts always rear their ugly heads. You keep thinking "Okay, maybe have this I can finally save". But no, the concept is that no matter what, you must pay yourself first. So now that money is automatically deducted from your check, you do not have to worry and in time, it grows, with the power of composite interest. As Jim said, "Understand we're not talking about huge amounts of money. At the beginning, I was having less than fifty dollars a month deducted from my paycheck. But over time it really adds up".

Sounds like a good book. An hour, though? How many pages?
