Here is a thread about the Yoshida Brothers, two brothers from Japan who specialize in electronic music fusing it with the 16th century Japanese instrument introduced from China, Tsugaru-shamisen. With an eclectic blend of electronic, jazz, hip hop and world fusion the Yoshida Brothers stand out among the handful of talents who can claim to have mastered the Tsugaru-shamisen. I doubt any of you have heard or care but I don't care either if you have or will, so I only post for the fun of it and to increase my post count. Here are my three favorite tracks from them.
