I cant stand cheesy Armenian tracks with keyboards. I love my folk music and music with great Armenian instruments in it.

Agree re the Armenian instruments too, especially Kasparyan and the Duduk.
I have just bought myself a genuine Armenian Duduk.

I personally am crazy about Armenian female singers.
Check out:

Nune Yesayan (ex: Msho Akhchik, Im Kamancha)
Sirusho (entire Sheram album)
Sona Avakyan (the Sweet Armenian Water album is beautiful)
Alla Levonyan (her Gnam, Hasnem... album)

Only male singers that have good vocal quality and sing decent songs are Karnig Sarkissian and Tata. Harout just has very entertaining songs and few very good patriotic ones, but his voice is not one of the best ones.
