Well, a beautiful voice and the ability to move the listener certainly makes the singer attractive, though more in an artistic sense I suppose. Except Sirusho is easy on the eyes anyways, so ...

Harut is definitely by faaaaaaaaar my most favorite singer (and not just "Armenian"). The rest of these "newer" guys aren't even in the same league as Harut P.

Tata is ok for parties. But after a while, all his songs sound the same to me ... don't know. I also don't find myself just playing his songs so I can just listen or sing along. His stuff, except for a couple of tracks here and there, are more the kind that you want to dance to.

He may not be "everyones first choice," (a handful of tastless individuals), but that still does not change the fact that he is perhaps the most (if not THE most) popular and loved Armenian singer the world over. I certainly cannot think of anyone else who outmatches Harout in terms of popularity, can you?
