Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Good job, keep it up and don't give up.
Well, I hope I still talk to you all in a year, but JUST IN CASE, something happens, like an asteroid hits my computer and blows it apart, and I never get to use the internet again - keep OneWizzle.com in mind. It'll be up and running for ever, until an asteroid hits me, and it'll have my album up for download.

Not a problem. I'm already planning what to wear and how to dress when I do major shows. I'm the white Kanye West, as they say. Except I've got better taste. And I'm white.

You can still end up on MTV, yet keeping it real. But I see your point. And don't worry. I'll always be me. That phrase is over-used, but believe me.

Glad to hear it man... My band that I've returned to wants to record a demo now, and hopefully a cd sooner or later, the main energy we've got that's responsible for pushing us is our 14 year old guitarist, but I'm glad he's there otherwise we wouldn't do jack xxxx :P At least this sort of thing can put you on the map, so it's good.

I wish you all the best, remember that the date you set is an objective and that if you want to fulfill it, you've gotta carry it out no matter what! A years a long time, but you can stick to your goal.

Yeah. I gave myself such a date to push myself to finish it sooner. Probably will. I'll just need months to promote properly.

Is your album in english and what is the genre?
              Do you work with professionals?

              Good luck!

                Re: My Album's Release Date

The album is in English, and it would probably be considered Hip-Hop. I tell everyone I know my music is a genre of it's own. I mix genre's and bring a new sound, so you gotta hear it to understand it. And it depends what you mean by professionals. Am I working with people who know what they're doing, as far as engineering it goes? Or do you just mean famous people? I am working with professionals, people who know what needs to be done. But more importantly, I'm mostly in charge. I'm trying to do this whole album myself, and use as little people as possible. Meaning, I'm recording it, in my own studio, which I put together. I'm mixing the tracks, doing most of the production. Only thing is, I'll probably have someone else master it. I am working with a lot of professional artists though. Not really big names, but more people who have the same sound as me, and would fit in the album well.

                    Re: My Album's Release Date

                    Thanks.

The album will be available online, for sure. On my website, MySpace, and another website that helps artist's sell CD's.

It'll also be available in music stores around where I live. Glendale area, Pasadena, and in the Valley.

People can purchase my album on the internet, and I'll ship it anywhere in the world. $10, no questions asked.

And of course, the CD will be available in streets, sold by hand.

And all AC members get a free copy. Definently.

Very cool of you if I don't mind saying so. It's always a good idea to give back ... you get what you give.

Kudos on the songs I've heard. Letting someone else master is always a good idea ... that's a whole different ball game with frequency specific compressors and a bunch of other highly specialized tools that no one else uses, or hardly ever uses at best
