Wow!!! Watch the film closely. Do you know the 'location' of their training camp? Watch the film at 46 minutes. But it's best revealed towards the end, at one hour thirty minutes - what do you see?

That was a surprise.

That was actually a very well directed film, very deep and sad as well. A friend translated it for me. It was basically about a military training camp set up for troubled teenagers for a special operation to be conducted behind German lines. The operation required high altitude training and that is why the camp was set up adjacent to Armenian medieval fortress of Ambert high on the slopes of mount Aragats. However, historically speaking, I don't know how accurate the film was, but I would not be surprised if it was an accurate depiction.

I bought the DVD of this movie...wow it blew my mind. One of the best movies i have ever seen. Very well done.

I watch a lot of new Russian war movies that are are also really good. But this one takes the cake.
