OK, here is my ride peeps.. i love it,, wouldnt trade it for anything in its class, or price range for that matter!!!... but as an all time 4 wheel its heavy on gas, but extremely well handling vehicle, no mods done to it yet, except a sound system (not a neighborhood thumper one).. its the best truck iv ever driven, and only type in its class

Gevo: Don't the newer Dodge trucks have tranny issues? My sister was thinking of getting a Dakota for her first vehicle, but was scared off by the constant complaints about trannys going out on various related boards/surveys.

Crimson Glow, this is a 2003, baught it last march, and currently has 37900 miles on it.. i drive a lot yes.. the tranny is a german (as is the engine) 5 speed aut, which is certainly unmathced in this type of trucks, none in its specific class but compared to other smaller classes or higher ones.. very nice smooth shifting, no problems with it at all.. i love this truck, rides very smooth, great size!!! comfy.. and the 4.7 german (mercedez) engine pumps 235 horses, with great energy transfer through the tranny and to the wheels.. i only have one complaint.. (this could have been solved if i whent with the higher class) but my vehicle is one class below the highest luxur class.. so the seats are not that most comfortable, though iv grown into them.. still room for improvement .. but oh well.. cant have it all now can we.. btw: this cost me 27k out the door.. pretty hefty.. but iv done wonders with this little beast hehe.. (ok the main reason i got it was so i can take my bike anywhere i wanted without hassle of trailers..).. but i fell inlove with it!
