Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Are you saying you can beat mustangs and camaros off the light?

what kind of car do you drive again?

Harut its an S4 2.7 liter 6 cyl Bi-Turbo (wagon) - with intake, exhaust, ECU chip (& a few other) mods...I run 330hp with 370lbs of torque - w/6 speed & AWD...zoom zoom!...plenty of go - trust me...I also take BMW M3/5s, Subaru Stis, Mitsu EVOs (these are all very close though) - and basically you name it...pretty much...so far I've only ever been outpowered (ever) by one Z06 Corvette...not that there aren't faster cars out there certainly (and I know it)...but not many...my little wagon moves out - under 5 sec 0-60...quarters in the low 13s (maybe better)...when I punch it I literraly can swing around most Mustangs, Camaros, G35s, Acura TLs, Honda S2000s...and so on and so forth pretty much like they are standing still....unless its a Cobra or such (never yet run with one - though I have a standing offer from a friend of my neighbors - we just haven't done it yet - I think he'd likely beat me in the quarter...but it would be a good run...heh I even run with some bikes - had one guy on a speed bike take his helmet off at a light the other day and ask just what was I driving - and told me no car had ever made him work so hard...he had beat me pretty good - but after his initial jump [perhaps 8-10 car lengths] I pushed him pretty hard and he couldn't pull away and I closed the gap - well up into triple digits... )...additionaly I'm lowered with custom suspension and run with 19" 235/35 Yoko AVS sports so can out power almost anything around the corners....its a real nifty package I must say - and quite a looker - I have the limited edtion Nagoro Blue package - sharp...as I said I'll post some pics once I take some with the new wheels....its a fun little package...very quick...particulalry with me driving it...

ok man, if that will make you stop repeating the same thing.. then im ignorent...

btw/// ho do u know your power ratings..? how did you dino it?... that sounds like too much torque for the mods and size engine.. the bhp is not an issue, but your torque is too much... i would love to see the dyno outcome of that...

Its based on nearly identical mods that others have made on the same car - so no - not out of line at all. If you are familiar how the ECU chip upgrade changes how the turbos fire - the additional fuel & air pumped in - while spooling up quicker and for a longer period - you wouldn't be so surprised. The S4 is already a torque monster - and the upgrades make it a beast. You wouldn't believe the push you get with just a flick of the gas pedal. Check out some Audi web sites and forums if you don't believe me. And I have only about a stage 1.5 upgrade. There are folks with stage 3/4 mods (with upgraded turbos & bigger downpipes) that are putting out 100hp & 100lb/ft more of torque with the very same engine I have!....(are you familiar with the RS4 sold only in Europe?- Check it out...basically my car taken to the extreme....). I have a video of a stage 3 modded S4 absolutly trashing a Z06 corvette on 2 different drag runs...a thing of beauty I tell ya...

I am planning to dyno it this fall BTW...I had scheduled a dyno a few months back but I had a slight compresion leak in my throttle body boot that I needed to fix....fixed now...next up is another software flash upgrade which is available for my chip...then the dyno...

I haev seen a focus whipp some creme on a viper.. lol.. honestly i have a video of it .. but that doesnt mean anything.. u dont compare the two vehicles.. i am not sure of the specs on that focus, but NOS for sure, and probably pushing 18 punds, a few runs and that engine will blow..

Winoman, have you changed or modififed your stock fule flow? if so what pressure are u running it under..? btw.. i beleive that your engine is capable of outputting that power, but i am skeptical as to the exact numbers.. we shouldnt go far, when the supras were real sports cars, around 83and i think best one was around 84 or 86 model years.. the stock performance before any mods or turbos was nearing 340 bhp.. with a few simple mods that vehicel was too much engine for itself.. lol.
Anywho.. i have always been a BM fan over Mercedes.. and in reality they are better sprots cars than most others in its class.. I think we started off on the wrong hand on this topic.. haha

S4 that beat the Z06 wasn't running NOS. But yeah - I've seen Jettas that do 11s in the quarter - so anything is possible.

My chip upgrade mods the fuel flow and fuel - air mix - I don't know what the numbers are...the result is just beastly and great fun to drive...car is somewhat stealthy being a wagon - but folks notice the big wheels - huge (ricers would be proud!) exhaust and the color is pretty striking - still as a wagon many just haven't a clue...and I love to drive (very) fast...

Yeah early 90s Supra (92 to 94 I think) - super fast and very moddable cars - these were really the best Supras - but the wanted in the 40s for them.... Fasting car I've ever driven (friend of mines) was a moded (automatic) Supra that had substanscial turbo, intake and exhaust upgrades - as well as a chip of course - and it was pushing around 500hp...stuck to the road like glue too...great car. I also do own a supercharged MR2 which is like a go cart on steriods. Handles great - with its md engine and low center of gravity - and with the Supercharger it flies off the line and can keep with most anything (to a point)...it accelerates well into the triple digits - but not generally fast enough to keep up with the big boys into those speeds. Still I've had great fun in the car - once put 5K on it in 2 weeks driving out west....great trip...

Yeah BMW is nice...Mercedes is for old farts...thoguh they are getting better - still - for any normal kind of money...only the priceir models are really special IMO - and they still are mostly all automatics - which just ruins it for me.
