1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Even now with all the internet communication, etc.... citizen's still believe the propaganda that is heard through their media and government over the information they can find on the internet and other independent sources. America has survived through enslaving people before and even though it will take generations to pay back the current debt, the working class will have no choice but to put in the time and work the country out of debt. The people of the Republic of China have no debt, they already worked for every penny they earned. You know what they say, paybacks are a bi!tch.
You should really start reading Aristophanes (the ancient greek) he has this great play called, "Wasps " basically he points out in the play (in a very funny way) that the lower classes are nothing more than dogs, being played with and manipulated by the elite upper and ruling classes; they offer the lower classes great luxuries in exchange for their blood in war, but when the war is over; they get nothing. I think you would enjoy it.

The "leaders" are pulling the same stunt here in Canada as well.

The fault of the economic crisis is the debt economy created by wall street propaganda, when people are rational and sensible about their debt the whole 'boom' and 'bust' is way less frequent. Then again this was more about people cheating other people out of their money, than a real debt problem; if Ronald Reagan hadn't fiddled with deregulation as he did this economic disaster would have never happened.

Not sure if the writer is Armenian, but an excellent article by Azartush Najjarian

US citizens duped by banking cartels

As the international, elitist banking cartels usurp the common US citizen for every penny he or she dares to collect, we can establish some sobering and very unfortunate facts about the dire situation in America.

This is true for the present and the not so distant future. Austerity measures are crushing jobs, educational opportunities, and self-determination of the people. It's a form of indirect death like taking arsenic or radiation in small doses daily. We see massive protests in Europe counterpunching austerity measures and the momentum of emancipation from financial slavery has been planted. Whether this movement germinates and takes off to create any real change, and equilibrates the hegemony of existing power structures is yet to be seen. In the states, we see a pacifist attitude towards the global banking elite, and US citizens seem to blame themselves for losing their jobs, homes and pensions rather than the bankers. Could US citizens learn a few things from Europeans? Obviously they could and should, although, examining the revolt against de facto austerity measures in the states amounts to home gardening and riding bicycles, which is a therapeutic and healthy idea even when the economy is flourishing.

Furthermore, we have the Tea Party movement, which implies a joke within itself. Let's create real change and have a cup of tea together! The Tea Party Movement began as an extension of the Republican Party. Can it get any worse? This party will obviously not change the mentality of the hawkish politicians harping for more war and death. These people are holding hands with the undertaker; the unholy Grim Reaper. Both parties receive funding from the industrial military complex, the oil companies and all the major elite corporations who pay their way into power. Real change is a facade in the states when relying on the Republicans and Democrats. The real power for change lies with the masses. Unfortunately, the masses in the US are living in a type of zombie-land.

The idea of a peaceful, intellectual or physical revolution in the states will perhaps only be visual in Hollywood movies for the time being. Americans seem content to allow the elite banking cartels to exploit the population until nothing is left to rape and pillage whether financially, intellectually, and psychologically and it is even occurring on a spiritual level. An excellent reflection of the American way of dealing with the global financial crisis is captured in the documentary California Dreaming by famous Dutch filmmaker Bregtje van der Haak. Bregtje interviews locals in Los Angeles and talks of how US citizens are “reinventing” each other in what was once one of the world's largest economies before the global financial meltdown. The fire department was broke and begging for money on street corners, while foreclosures and unemployment was widespread in the film. College educated people were living in recreational vehicles and the hope for change was only a dream.

In regards to anti-government sentiment, Dr. Paul Gregg Roberts, former US Assistant Secretary to the Treasury says, “This shows a population that has no awareness and I don't see how such a population could defend the constitution or civil liberties, or hold the government accountable for its transgressions. It looks like the American population is lost; the country is lost.” US citizens are dealing with the banking cartels, foreclosures, unemployment, drugs, and increased crime. The US citizens are living in a state of voluntarily retardation, regression and disconnect with reality and what is going on in their country. The Federal Reserve will continue to print more fake money pilling debt on top of debt.

America is an empire in decline, as former US Senator Mike Gravel explained. The epitome of the US banking system is the “I owe you note” or the US dollar. It is not backed up by gold or silver but functions as a satanic talisman to exploit the serfs while the elite pocket the benefits. Henceforth, the epitome of the global banking cartels and the Allan Greenspan economists will eventually crash like any lie where the fragile foundation deteriorates at a rapid rate day by day. The US dollar and all other “I owe you” currencies are worth just as much as monopoly money.

The bitterest downfall of the American people is their naivety and gullibility to be duped and believe in anything. If martial law is declared and people are pointed to the train tracks like back in World War II, the Americans will obey the law and head to whatever Treblinka and Auschwitz the elite have made for them. It unfortunately does not look like we will see an uprising in the US as Americans are content to grow fat on beer, watch the tube, and indulge in the entertainment industry whether Britney Spears, Tom Cruise or other sport personalities are visible to worship. They are worshiped and it's easier to be entertained or go down to the pub and drink yourself to oblivion while rolling in your own debauchery than contemplate the good of the whole or what the elite have in store for the serfs.

With all the accessible technology to help us evolve via the internet, most will not use the net in this particular way but rather for entertainment. Obama has been labeled a Muslim, which is laughable considering he has followed the footsteps of the Bush-Cheney era with uncanny accuracy creating death and destruction in Muslim lands while continuing an artificial war on terror. Thereafter, we have some who claim Obama is a xxx. It appears throughout history the necessity of the scapegoat is inevitable. Americans have allowed the rape and pillage of their country by the international banking elite, which has members from all nationalities, all races, ethnic and religious groups etc. When America's police government starts to open fire on people in the streets and puts people into concentration camps, perhaps they will finally come to realize that Uncle Sam wants them to be patriotic and bow down before the government in the same manner the wolf wants the sheep to passively kneel for the slaughter.

                United States (1812-1814 and 1861-1865)

The United States has experienced two currency collapses. The first was the Continental Currency ("Not worth a Continental") the American colonists used to finance the Revolutionary War. While the Americans won their independence, their currency was destroyed in the process.

The second were the Confederation notes. In an effort to finance the civil war with the north, the Confederate States of America issued vast amounts of money. At one point, the Secretary of the Treasury recommended that counterfeit money be utilized. Anyone holding a counterfeit bill was to exchange it for a government bond. The government would then stamp it "valid" and spend it.

Below is a chart showing the falling value of the current American currency since inception:

O'Leary is one of the business "experts" on the show Dragon's Den (in Canada) and Shark Tank (in USA). He usually talks down to people just because he's wealthy so he's naturally on the side of banks and corporations.
