Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Hezbollah nabs Israel spies within ranks

    Wed Jun 22, 2011 4:28PM
Lebanon's resistance movement Hezbollah has arrested several people within its own ranks on suspicion of spying for Israel's intelligence service, Mossad.

According to the Lebanese sources, more than 10 Hezbollah members, among them high-ranking figures, were arrested over the past few days for collaborating with Israel.

Mohammad Atwi from the Nabatiyeh district in south Lebanon, who was responsible for organizing security within the party and coordinating activities with Iran and Syria, is one of the high ranking Hezbollah officials arrested in this regard, the Kuwaiti newspaper al-Rai reported.

A cleric is also reported to be among the suspected Israeli spies.

"A group of Hezbollah members were detained in the past few days for collaborating with Israel,” an unnamed Hezbollah source told Now Lebanon but refused to disclose the number of those detained or their position in the party.

The Lebanese resistance movement says the detainees are being interrogated, adding that some have confessed to spying for Mossad while others deny the charges.

Hezbollah says it discovered the spy cell three months ago after very crucial information about the movement was passed to Israel.

Several prominent Lebanese figures, including members of the army, politics and business, have been arrested over the last two years on charges of spying for Israel.

Tel Aviv has launched an intelligence war against Hezbollah following its defeat during the 33-day war against the Lebanese resistance movement in 2006.

If convicted, the spies will face life sentences with hard labor. Should they be found guilty of contributing to the loss of the Lebanese life, the agents will face capital punishment.

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman has called for severe punishment for Israeli spies, saying he would sign death sentences handed down by the court.

Not all Berbers (Amazigh) are Arabised-Berbers (Moors) and their are still several million ethnic Berbers in North Africa. The Berbers are indigenous to North Africa and they are Afroasiatic, Atlanto-Mediterranean peoples.

Modern day Syro-Lebanese people have Iranic ethnic associations and the Lebanese Muslims aren't just Arabised. As the Lebanese are one of the the most ethnically mixed group of people in the entire world.

The Lebanese are really Arabised, Semitic-Mediterraneans and it's said that they very distantly related to the Sicilians and Maltese. Who like the Lebanese where Arabised and are descended from the Phoenicians.

The Lebanese and Assyrians may both be Western Semitic. However they aren't that closely related. As the Assyrians are far more closely related to Armenians, Turks (Antolians), Greeks etc. and whilst the Assyrians where partially Indo-Europeanised. They are still a 'proper' West Asian, Western Semitic peoples.

If you're speaking in reference to Christians in the middle east then yes, there is some truth to this since Saudis and Turks are both Sunni. Although Saudi Arabia is in a world of its own when it comes to sanity.

The people have been shuffled around and the middle east has been in shambles since WW1. The borders were drawn up around resources and not around demographics.

It's important to understand the difference.

    TRIVIA:

Iran: According to Acts 2:9 in the Acts of the Apostles there were Persians, Parthians and Medes among the very first new Christian converts at Pentecost. And there are several denominations of Christians in Iran; some going directly back to the time of Jesus.

    Compared to Saudi Arabia:

    Saudi Arabia:
Saudis to Christians: "Get out!" Those accused of worshipping in homes ordered deported

Saudis will do much worse if they think no one will notice.

Armenians were neutral during Civil War.
That statement is over-broad; maybe you've heard of this guy: He largely built his military experience beginning from the late 1970s and 1980s where he fought against the various splintering factions in the Lebanese Civil War, against Israeli troops in the Israeli invasion of Lebanon.

Maronites are leftover Christian Assyrians and Rooms (Greeks) from surrounding areas, there’re even some Armenians mixed to them, they claim they are Phoenicians just like turks claim they are “Anatolians” but in reality they have nothing to do with being Phoenicians. This Maronite thing started after an Assyrian monk by the name “Maroun” or “Marouan” was kicked out from a monastery in Syria ( I suspect maybe he was a freemason or something ) came to Lebanon and started this whole thing.
